The Scrambler's List: Top 10 #DCWeek News!

Twitter
This was definitely the week of the comic fans, especially the DC fans. DC Week was a series of debuts, controversies, teasers, and exciting announcements. We had The Dawn of the Justice League, some special premieres, and the return of our favorite DC TV shows. And if you weren't around to witness it all (which I doubt because there is a thing called "trending"), here are the top ten news that happened during DC Week.

10.) The first look of Vixen on Arrow!
Yes, Vixen is a cartoon on the CW. But the heroine will appear on Arrow for a crossover episode! CW teases her first look for the show, and it is revealed that the voice actress of Vixen, Megalyn E.K. will also be the one taking the live-action role. And her official look looks great. We shall anticipate her in the fifteenth episode.

9.) Danny Trejo as Lobo
Although it is not official, there have been images of what would Danny Trejo look like if he was DC's intergalactic bounty hunter. Danny Trejo saw the image and tweeted it, and some people assumes that he might be interested in taking on the role if it is possible. What do you think?

Aside from the kissing photos of Kara and her new love interest, the show has found another new addition to the cast...and that is a young superman??? It is confirmed that Daniel Dimaggio will play the role on thirteenth episode of the series. The episode is entitled, "For the Girl Who Has Everything"...now what is with Kryptonians and them having everything?

That's right, Green Lantern Corps will be joining the Justice League Films! But does that mean we will be seeing them in the upcoming Batman V Superman film? Well personally...I hope so.

Apparently not everyone is content with the casting of Ezra Miller for the upcoming The Flash film. However, Grant Gustin decides to speak on the matter, and tells the whole world that he believes that Ezra will do a great job. And I am siding with him on this one. I think Ezra is a great actor, so he will be able to take on the role of Barry Allen. Might as well take the leap of faith, and yes...let's all look at Heath Ledger. When in doubt DC fans, look to Heath Ledger as the Joker. What do you think?

Another bounty hunter has been casted, but this time it is official. Johnathon Schaech has been casted for the role of Jonah Hex, the legend of the wild wild west for DC's Legends of Tomorrow! What do you think of this casting choice?

4.) The Bad Blood teaser!
I gotta admit, this may have spoiled lots of things on the film Batman: Bad Blood. But for some reason, they decided to release a five-minute long teaser on the said movie. This features the teamwork between Batman and Batwoman. Now this is one film I would definitely see, simply because this is the first time in forever that we are having Batwoman in a movie. That alone is interesting for me, and I am hoping that the film is going to be good.

3.) Dawn of the Justice League!
To summarize, Dawn of the Justice Leauge is a series of interviews and footage for the next phase of DC films. We see the concept art of future movies such as The Flash and Cyborg, hear from the actors and actresses taking on the roles, and we get some extra footage especially for the next Wonder Woman film which will show next year. The video above is a featurette for Batman V Superman. Now if you're too lazy to search them all, I have a playlist for you. Here you get to hear from the cast of the Suicide Squad, Batman V Superman, and from other future DC films as well including their directors and producers. And all Ezra Miller, Cara Delevingne, Jared Leto, Henry Cavill do in these videos... is explaining how much they love comics really.

2.) DC's Legends of Tomorrow Premiere!
I had to wait a year for this and now it is finally here. The DC TV team-up of some of the underrated characters of Arrow and The Flash. The White Canary, Atom, Heatwave, Captain Cold, F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M., Hawkgirl, and Hawkman join forces with Time Lord Rip Hunter to save the world from the clutches of Vandal Savage. This is the first time DC TV has considered their characters into saving the world instead of saving (or disrupting, for the case of the villains in this team) their respective cities. I made a post about what I thought about the pilot episode so be sure to check it out.

1.) THE SUICIDE SQUAD TRAILER!!!
This very trailer...has gotten me even more eager to see this rather than Batman V Superman (just saying). It is a trailer filled with thrill and excitement. It also has a great concept considering the different kinds of superhero trends in films, nowadays. I wish August would come here fast so I can watch this in the theaters already. It looks so great and hopefully there will be more teasers in between.

And that is the end of #DCWeek. I cannot wait for the films to come out and Batman V Superman is just two months away! I believe that this year is the year of DC. Call me biased, but I seriously think it is after all the line-up of films they have for this year and for the next years to come. Let's not forget how fast the TV series are flourishing. There are going to be more rumors for more team-ups and more casting and more concepts. I cannot wait what they are going to have in store for us and I am going to continue keeping my fingers crossed. Have a great week ahead and till the next post~
